On Tuesday 10 December 2024 we had our Christmas party at the Para Hills Community Club.
There were about 30 members and partners, including a couple of past members.

Thanks to a grant from the Salisbury Council we were able to hold this workshop on Friday 28 July 20424 in the Salisbury Hub John Harvey Gallery.
The workshop proved very popular with members and non members, thanks to advertising and Fay's relentless work in organising everything with help from council representatives.
Participants were given coaching by talented and experienced watercolour artist John Ford. All materials were provide for, and everyone took home an amazing artwork, plus tips and tricks to help in their future projects.

As an initiative of the Salisbury Council, we will be running several come and try days throughout the year. Designed to welcome absolute beginners, these easy and fun sessions are a chance to try your hand at an art technique of your choice. Our members are there on hand to help guide you. An amazing opportunity to meet us, learn about art and enjoy a cuppa, some sweet treats and go home with an art creation.
All materials are supplied.Cost free.

In October 2023 we held our first Fluid Art Workshop held by International Award Winning Artist and Art Therapist Coralie Loftes
Coralie brings her unique art style combining aspects of Fluid art and art therapy, to help participants connect to both the art and their inner creativity.
"Abstract art comes from within, rather than created from the world we see around us. It is a reflection of our outer experiences, and our emotional connection to them". Coralie Loftes
Participants learn how to mix their own fluid medium base with acrylic paint to get proper consistency. Various pouring methods are used to get a design. This form of art is also a perfect bonding activity for parents and children / grandchildren to do together, as it is an easy art technique for beginners to learn.
